Questions teachers ask

What grade and standard is it for?
Grade 3. Common Core: 3.NF.A.3, 3.NF.A.3a. Alberta: Number 4.
Can I print more than one version?
Yes. Every version has different numbers and its own answer key. Use “Make another version” for a new one; the same version always prints the same.
How is a blank multiplication chart used?
Students fill it in themselves, which shows the patterns: each row counts by its number, and the chart is the same on both sides of the diagonal because 3 × 8 = 8 × 3. The filled chart is the answer key.
What is a ten frame?
A 2 by 5 grid for showing numbers to 10 with counters. Students see 7 as 5 and 2, and as 3 less than 10, which builds number sense for adding and subtracting.
